We are pleased to announce Tom Curry of Lenczner Slaght is the recipient of the 2018 Catzman Award for Professionalism & Civility.
This annual award recognizes individuals who demonstrate the qualities exemplified by Justice Catzman throughout his distinguished career.
The award will be presented by the Chief Justice of Ontario at the Opening of the Courts Ceremony on September 13, 2018.
David H. Marion, Esq., Senior Counsel at White and Williams LLP, was recently honored to receive The Philadelphia Inquirer “Influencer of Law Award” at a ceremony in the Crystal Tea Room of the Wannamaker Building in Philadelphia, PA. David was selected by a panel of Judges in recognition of his litigation successes that changed the law in cases he argued in the U.S. Supreme Court, the 3rd Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals and the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, involving First Amendment, defamation law, ERISA, pension and retirement law and summary judgement/civil procedure, respectively.
Tex and his wife, Jo, have three sons, Tom, Scott, and James. Tex is of counsel to the law firm of Hoy Trial Lawyers, Prof.L.L.C. and fortunate to practice with sons Scott and James, and their staff. He is thankful to his peers who nominated him for this distinction.
